One of my passions is documenting births. As a mother of 6 myself, I understand what a life-shifting event it is to bring a child into the world. I believe every family deserves to have a beautiful record of this once-in-a-lifetime event. Let me handle all the concerns of documenting such an important event so your loved ones can be fully present and emotionally connected to the incredible love and joy that is present each time a new little one comes Earthside.
I am passionate about motherhood. Mothering my kids is the center of my life and each of my birth stories are unique and beautiful to me. The experience of bringing children into the world is the most strenuous, most demanding, most triumphant and exhilarating thing I have ever done. Each of my 6 births are as unique as the humans they have accompanied. Each is a treasure, and a trophy.
I was fortunate to have a wise husband who sneaked a video camera into the delivery room back in 1995 when my first was born ( I had told him no videos during the delivery). I didn't know he had hit "record" until 2 days later. When he finally showed me the video, I was flooded with joy as I experienced my son's entry into the world once again. I was also shocked by how much I had already forgotten. The delivery was already fading in my memory as my days were filling with new and precious firsts (and the sleep deprivation began!). I was amazed by my own strength as I watched myself push with all my might and scream at the top of my lungs like a warrior. I cried when I heard my voice exclaim my shock and relief when the baby finally emerged and it was finished. I fell in love again as I watched the new center of my life take his first breath and add his voice to mine. We did it. We did it.
I want to provide this beautiful experience for every mother. I want other women to feel what I felt and see in herself what I saw in me that day. I want her to remember the incredible experience of finding her inner warrior and falling in love at first sight over and over again.
